This one day emotionally intelligent leadership workshop will focus on:
- Discussing effective leadership vs. traditional leadership models, and explaining the underlying behavioral principles that explain why autoritarian, avoidant, directive, or 'do as I say' type leadership doesn't work.
- Reviewing underlying psychological needs of workers and exploring developmental implications that affect worker behavior and decision-making.
- Defining emotional intelligence and discussing the 5 concepts that create EQ, including related behavioral skills and abilities of each.
Next steps for organizational leaders who aspire to better understand and develop their own emotional intelligence, helping them to become stronger and more effective leaders.
Course Format: Facilitated virtual training (with camera on and mic available for all participants) including large group discussions, small group break-out sessions, individual reflection activities, and scenario-based activities, all geared toward helping participants understand, personalize, and apply the learnings.
Class sizes are kept small to provide the type of learning space necessary for personal application and behavioral development.
Course Materials: Participants will receive their digital course book via email the week prior to the scheduled course. Course books are for individual use only by the registered course participant. They are not for sharing or resale, and may only be printed for personal use by the course participant.
